The fact that the Japanese manufacturer of video game consoles and video games is going to build its first entertainment park in conjunction with the company Universal, it became known as early as 2015. The project was named Super Nintendo World, and the first people to try the park will be residents of the Land of the Rising Sun. If the idea fires, the Japanese will think about opening such parks in other countries. The date of putting the park into operation is set for 2020, but right now it's possible to see what this place looks like, thanks to the official video published.
From a short teaser video it becomes clear that the Super Nintendo World Park will outwardly resemble the Super Mario universe, which is not surprising, because the famous mustachioed plumber with Italian roots is a mascot of the Japanese company. Visitors to the park will be able to see various animatron dolls depicting the inhabitants of video games about Mario, visit the locations from the games, for example, Bowser's castle or Princess Peach's palace, and also to ride on various attractions (which have not yet been shown to us). It's not entirely clear whether the theme of the park will affect other popular Nintendo franchises, but I think that we will soon find out the answer to this question as well.
